About this policy

This policy applies to the main website at kostin.app. It does not replace the separate privacy policies available on the Animal Sounds and Puzzle Garden product websites.

The website is operated by Mikhail Kostin. Questions about privacy can be sent to hello@kostin.app.

Optional website analytics

Google Analytics 4 is used only after you choose Accept in the analytics banner. We use it to understand how the website is visited, which pages are viewed, and which external app-store links are selected.

Depending on your device and settings, Analytics may process information such as page URLs and titles, referring pages, general device and browser information, approximate geographic information, and website interactions. We do not use Analytics to collect names, email addresses, or information entered into forms.

Consent and cookies

Analytics is disabled by default. The Google Analytics script is not loaded unless you consent. If you reject, no Analytics data is sent to Google.

If you accept, Google Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits. Advertising storage, advertising user data, personalized advertising, and Google Signals are disabled in this implementation.

You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the homepage footer. Withdrawing consent disables future Analytics collection and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies for this site.

Legal basis and purpose

The legal basis for optional Analytics processing is your consent. The purpose is to measure website usage and improve the presentation of our apps. Consent is optional and rejecting it does not affect access to the website.

Google and data retention

Analytics data is processed using Google Analytics, a service provided by Google. Google may process data on infrastructure outside your country using safeguards described in its terms and privacy documentation.

User-level Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting of the Google Analytics property and for no longer than the maximum available to a standard GA4 property. Aggregated reports may remain available for longer.

You can reject or withdraw Analytics consent at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection concerning personal data, and to contact your local data-protection authority.
